NexusWatch Final Workshop

NexusWatch Project Concludes with Final Training and Workshop in Amman, Jordan

The final training and workshop for the NexusWatch project took place at the University of Jordan in Amman, Jordan, from June 24th to 27th, 2024. This transformative initiative, funded by Nuffic under the Orange Knowledge Programme, Tailor Made Training Plus (OKP TMT+), started on August 1st, 2023, and has a duration of one year.

NexusWatch aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of professionals and organizations active in the water-energy-food nexus through the use of geospatial technologies. The final workshop included the presentation of case studies by course participants, who are future trainers and experts. Representatives from other organizations in Jordan also attended the event.

  • Team 3: Climate Smart Agroforestry to Enhance Resilience and Productivity

This final event marks a significant milestone in the NexusWatch project, showcasing the collaborative efforts and advancements made in geospatial technologies to address critical challenges in the water-energy-food nexus.
